the Levitt floors with blended acid stains,
aquarium sand, and seashells for a natural looking
finish.
The concrete
floor with veins of seashells, beach glass, aquarium
sand, and blended acid stains. Here the craters
in the concrete were created to match the rocks
on the beach in the background by placing drops
of retardant in some areas with a turkey baster.
Concrete stairs
with stainless border to retain stained mortar seeded
with
glass, shells and aquarium sand.
On the left the
concrete walls are seen through a stainless
steel stair rail. The wall has beautiful natural
fissures constructed to resemble the oceanside
cliffs.

coils for a cozy interior.

Floors. Natural burnished concrete with Koi
Pond in a lavish living room setting.
The Koch Residence:
Bonny Doon CA This floor
featured a Davis Brick Red integral color with a Scoffield
dark red dust on color. It was later sealed with lacquer
and then had an acrylic wax placed on the floor.
Eckhardt Floors:
Soquel CA 2"
thick concrete with deep score joints 2' on center
over radiant heated floors with multiple acid staining
to produce Soltiel Tile like concrete floors.
The Sandkule Residence:
Corralitos CA This is a
natural grey floor that was hard troweled and poured over
radiant heating tubes. The floor was later stained with
Antique Amber and Sealed with a lacquer and then waxed.

Floors:
Los Altos Hills CA These Pictures
feature Purple Colloidal Dyes from Richard James, Antique
Amber, Fern Green and Terra Cotta Acid Stains, Copper pieces
were placed in the concrete floor and Liquid copper was
placed in the deep score joints and the Masonry was done
with an Italian stone interspersed with a black acid stain.
Uyeda Pool Room Floors:

buff integral color hard troweled with deep contraction
joints and a water based sealer.
The
Joseph Kitchen:
Scotts Valley CA Pecan tan
base with oysterwhite flash color, and a sprinkling of frost
blue dust on colors; two part epoxy sealer finish at floors.

deep saw cuts machine troweled floor with acrylic wax sealer.
